Background to Excel
Established in July 2003, Excel Passenger Logistics is a private limited company
based at Stansted Airport in Essex with additional bases at Manchester and Gatwick.
With a turnover in excess of £9M we employ over 80 staff and operate a fleet of
over 60 vehicles, from minibuses, to single deck buses and luxury coaches. Our 24
hour control centre means that we are on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to
handle your transport requirements.
We have been accredited to ISO 9001:2000 for the provision of passenger logistics
services. We are members of the CPT (Confederation of Passenger Transport), FTA
(Freight Transport Association), Link-up (Rail industry supplier quotation and registration
scheme) and ITM (The Institute of Travel Management).
As well as regular local bus and school services, we specialise in the provision
of services to the rail and airline industries, and have a vast experience of moving
high passenger volumes generated by airport closures, flight diversions, and railway
